Our first litter of baby rabbits in over 12 years is due to be born any minute now.  Hailey, a castor rex doe, is madly stuffing her nest box with straw and bits of fur. I've been keeping myself from getting TOO excited since she and Roger, the castor rex buck, had their little trysts late last month. After all, it's not at all uncommon for does to miss, especially first timers like Hailey. But with all the fur that's flying, I'm pretty sure that she's going to be a mother soon.
